Welcome to Applied GeoSolutions

Grace M. Delgado.
Research Scientist

Grace joined Applied Geosolutions after earning her M.S in Geology at the University of New Hampshire. Her research background involves remote sensing of modern glacier retreat and reconstructions of glacial chronology through paleoglacial geomorphology in the tropical Peruvian Andes. As a geoscientist she has participated numerous geolimnological research excursions in Peru. Most recently, she was a scientist in the Lake Junin Project, a part of the International Continental Drilling Program to acquire long records of climate change from lake sediments preserved in the oldest lakes on the planet. Throughout her research experience, Grace developed an interest in applications of remote sensing to study surface changes and aims to contribute in developing efforts in environmental resource preservation at AGS.
